Pens

Postby michael-ellis » Thu Oct 17, 2013 12:34 pm

I love my crow quill pen, but I have a drawing style that doesn't lend itself to constantly needing to lift the pen and refill the nib. Any recommendations for some good cartridge pens that have the crow quill tip and provide a nice, constant flow of ink at the same time?

Cartridge pens that have an actual crow tip? I don't think there are any like that. You might think about trying a fountain pen.

If you want line variation with a pen, you're probably going to want to try out some brush pens. Sakura makes some pretty good ones you might be interested in trying out.

I like the Sakura brush pens but they lose their points SO quickly.

I've been slowly falling out of love with my crow quill pen and inking with brushes and microns almost exclusively lately.
