A gusty wind blows outside a patio of a coffee shop.
With a perplexed look on her face, Sarah Said.
"It was yesterday?!"

Stan looked up from his latte, as far away from Sarah's face as he could without turning around in his chair.
A rusty Thai food truck trundled past, belching sulphurous exhaust onto the street.
"Are you going to finish that scone?" he asked her.

"No," she said, pushing the plate towards him, "I think I've had enough." They sat for a moment staring at the bustling city street.
"I can't believe that today's the day," he smiled, and without another word he grabbed the half-eaten confection off of her plate and took a bite.

Sarah looked at him, wide-eyed and unblinking.
How could he not have invited her to go to the doctor's office with him, not 24 hours ago?
Stan chewed while he stared at passing traffic, as nonchalant as he had been ever since they were teenagers together.

The Doctor had callously turned him out, citing "professional limitations".
But the growth on his neck - the one that recently developed a mouth and began spouting Confucian aphorisms - wasn't going to remove itself.
She took out her pen knife.

"Eeeverything has its beeeauty but not eeeveryone sees iiit", his neck proclaimed.
Hesitating from the outburst, Sarah cocked her head sideways.
"Bullshiiit," she mocked.

This is what it looked like in my head. So I guess I'll wrap this up with a picture of the last entry.

WRITER JAM Continue the story in 3 Sentence

I have an earlier piece with just Sive. I was originally going to recycle my character Haldis for Elus role in the story, but the name didnt fit and Haldis and Sive are too similar.
